Two Chick-fil-A openings bring free food to Metro Detroit in November

METRO DETROIT. Chick-fil-A opens a location at 1201 W. Eight Mile Road sometime in November, run by owner-operator Ken Wright and bringing about 100 jobs. A second location, Chick-fil-A Great Lakes Crossing at 4790 S. Baldwin Road, opens Nov. 5 under owner-operator Lauren Sinclair, also with about 100 jobs. Both locations run 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Each opening day runs a Moove-In Party: guests who show up in cow print, a full costume or just a spotted accessory, get one free entree or kid's meal, limit one per guest, no purchase necessary. Breakfast options include the Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill, or four count Chick-n-Minis. Lunch and dinner options include the Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, eight count nuggets, or a five count nugget kid's meal.

Chick-fil-A, Inc. is also donating $50,000 total for hunger relief, split evenly between Gleaners Community Food Bank and Forgotten Harvest.
