Pride of Detroit: a Movember drive for cancer research and foster kids

DETROIT. Pride of Detroit, the Lions fan community, is running its sixth annual Movember charity drive through the end of November. Money raised supports the University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center's Men's Cancer Research Fund and the House of Providence, which supports kids in foster care.
Donors earn rewards tied to how much they give. An auction of sports memorabilia and other prizes benefits the same causes. Last year's drive raised more than $32,000. The month closes with a 16 hour marathon stream on Nov. 28.
Donation and auction details are at prideofdetroit.com.
