Andrea Gibson tribute plays Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater, Nov. 8

ANN ARBOR. Love Letter from the Afterlife, a multimedia tribute to poet Andrea Gibson, plays the Michigan Theater on Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. The show mixes film, live music, and poetry built around Gibson's work.
Gibson, known for writing on queer identity, gender, and later illness, died in July 2025 of ovarian cancer. The show was built by Gibson's wife, poet Megan Falley, who calls her own role a back seat one. She reads one of Gibson's poems at the end of every performance. Guest artists on the tour include Sara Bareilles, Ani DiFranco, Chris Pureka, Holly Miranda, Edie Carey, and Autumn Nicholas, backed by the five piece Goosebumps Orchestra.
VIP tickets add a gift and a question and answer session with Falley. Tickets are at marquee-arts.org.
